Karitane LFCC provides services for families with children 0 - 5 yrs who reside within the Liverpool LGA, and who are experiencing complex parenting problems (for the child's physical and emotional wellbeing and parental emotional support).
The FCC is a centre based secondary level day stay. An outreach service is available to families that have difficulty in accessing the service.
The LFCC team provides a range of services including full and half day stays, individual counselling, breastfeeding clinics, community outreach and group programs. Trained volunteers care for the children while the group is in progress. The centre believes in empowering families by providing education and support in a relaxed, homely environment. The team consists of Registered Child and Family Heath Nurses, lactation consultants, clinical psychologist, social worker and administration staff.
Self-referral by client is available for the breastfeeding Clinic and all groups. All other services require referral by professional care giver (such as an Early Childhood Nurse or General Practitioner)
Clients must reside within Liverpool LGA
Bookings essential on 98214555. Intake operates from: 2pm to 4pm Monday to Friday.

- Parent craft education (feeding, settling and adjustment to motherhood)
- Postnatal depression and anxiety counselling
- Outreach Services (for isolated families)
- Triple P programme (2-10yrs)
