Karitane's RFCC provides services for families with children 0 - 5 yrs who reside within the Eastern Sydney and who are experiencing complex parenting problems (for the child's physical and emotional wellbeing and parental emotional support). The FCC is a centre based secondary level day stay. An outreach service is available to families that have difficulty in accessing the service.
The RFCC team provides a range of services including full and half day stays, individual counseling, breastfeeding clinics, community outreach and group programs. Trained volunteers care for the children while the group is in progress. The centre believes in empowering families by providing education and support in a relaxed, homely environment. The team consists of Registered Child and Family Heath Nurses, lactation consultants, psychologist and administration staff.
