Position Title: Project Coordinator – Talking Realities Program (Maternity Relief)

Department: Karitane Carramar Site – CCNSW

Vaccination Category: A High Risk

Status: Fixed Term Part Time 20 hours per week until June 2021

Responsible To: CCNSW Manager

Position Summary: 

The Project Coordinator for the Talking Realities Program (DSS Funded Project) will work with the Manager of CCNSW to provide training, parenting information and resources to Young Parents and Young People in Bankstown, Liverpool & Fairfield LGA’s & surrounding suburbs. This process will include community consultation to assist with the identification, adaptation & development of information sessions & resources including culturally appropriate parenting information for the CALD and Aboriginal communities. Promotion and distribution of information to target families & young people will be an integral part of this role.

Position Title: Executive Special Project Officer 

Department: Executive Office - Karitane

Award Classification: Health Manager Level 3

Reports To: Director Education & Business Development through to the CEO

Status: Temporary part-time 24 hours/week to June 30th 2021

Position Summary:

You will need to be flexible and mature in your approach, with great initiative and professionalism. You will also need to be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.

The Executive Project Officer is responsible for working in collaboration with the Executive team and any relevant external project teams & stakeholders with the primary role of supporting the NGO Telepractice Capacity Building Project.

The position is responsible for monitoring the progress towards achieving the strategic and operational objectives of the project and will ensure the smooth running of the project in conjunction with the senior executive team, Project Steering Committee and Community of Practice.

The position will also provide general support to the Executive Team for other Executive projects and oversee the maintenance and updating of Executive Project Plans.

The incumbent will be required to undertake project-related organisational and research tasks in carrying out the role including monitoring and reporting progress to ensure projects are delivered within tight time frames.  For this, the incumbent will be required to take initiative, problem solve independently, understand the role of evidence in service delivery, manage multiple stakeholders, and possess a high level of skill in managing concurrent projects effectively.
